Senior Software Engineer
Position Summary:
The test automation team covers most mobile device automatic tests (performance/memory/stress/stability/boundary tests) and corresponding automation tools development. This is an exciting opportunity to do software test & development on embedded OS like Symbian & Linux. The candidate will be responsible for the mobile phone automatic tests as well as delivering high quality automation tools.
Specific responsibilities include:
1. Identify and design required tests and scripts, be responsible for developing new automation test cases of mobile phone, research and develop the test environment with high quality and stability as test needs.
2. Be responsible for automation tools development and maintenance that can detect memory and performance issues effectively under embedded system
3. Take part in code inspection and ensure the code quality
4. Be responsible for test automation tools software configuration management
5. Perform automation testing, work closely with the development teams and other groups as necessary
6. Program and control GCF and PTCRB qualified simulator like CRTU-G/RACAL_6103/CMU200/CMD55 with automation tools to drive the mobile phone test
Skill Requirement:
1. BS or above degree in CS/EE
2. Experienced at OO design and UML knowledge
3. Excellent C/C++ and OS background
4. Real time embedded system experience, experienced at Linux and Symbian and their GUI layer
5. GSM/GPRS signaling and stack knowledge, CRTU-G or CMU200 experience
6. J2ME experience and programming knowledge
7. Familiar with debug tools or memory checking tools
8. 5 or more year’s software development experience
9. Full understanding of test methodologies and processes
10. Understand the V-Model well
11. Good written and verbal command of the English language
